What: First Friday Art Walk

Where: Chapter’s Books & Coffee, Newberg, Oregon

When: 5-9pm

Who: in addition to our very own Joel Bock, the Newberg Friends Brass will be playing Christmas music!  Also, there will be a truffle oil tasting (from mushrooms, not chocolate…!).

Sorry about the late notice–we had late notice, too, but are excited to have the opportunity for jebock photography‘s first art show.

Touching the nose (below) happened frequently, as that is how the horn on the bus goes “beep”. =)

We were laughing as this looked like some sort of “future students of Fox” shot.

The toasts were exceptionally good, and were well received (below)!

About the time we were to shoot formals outside the rain dropped by.  The group was brilliant, though, and both ran in the street (!) and shared some umbrellas.

The cake had strings built into it, one for each bridesmaid.  At the end was a trinket for each person, what a slick idea!

Alex and Beth, I hope you can keep that deep sense of gratitude as you continue life together.  Thanks for letting me journey with you!

They were married in the same meetinghouse!

Along our walk we found this very old wall with a ladder for crossing…more coming soon!

Our good friends, the Ragsdales, just had a new addition to their family.  He was born this morning, and is a very calm, personable little baby.  We were surprised to see his open eyes, which were open almost all of the time.  Our other good friends took pictures of their family, including Oliver’s big sister.  I’m sure she’ll be excited to see him soon!  You can check out their photos here.  Congrats Russ & Jess.  He’s an amazing baby, and we’re glad to know Espen will have another friend to play with as he gets older.

Espen also enjoyed getting to hold Oliver.  He was quite taken with his size, and has been since referring to himself as a little baby.  Oliver seems to have made quite the first impression on him (no pun intended).
