foreshadow: bethany & nathan.

Coming later this week, Bethany & Nathan’s wedding at the Veiled Garden!  It was a perfect break in the weather for their beautiful wedding.  Here’s one of the newly weds until the full post…

…on a more technical note (for the photo geeks out there!) I have to say that my Canon 24 1.4L has been the go-to lens!  This shot is a prime example of why I love it.  No post-process vignette, sharpening, color or contrast corrections.  While the Canon 85 1.2L has the impressionistic bokeh I have come to love, the 24mm has a way of taking a wide angle perspective and giving it a shallow depth of field at 1.4 that is unique, beautiful, and at times unanticipated for this wide of a shot.  You might even go rent one to try for yourself at Pro Photo Supply (if you’re local to Portland).  But enough with the shop talk…
