Della in Princeton, revisited…
While looking back over the last couple months I realized I had forgotten about my session with Della, so here is another photo from our time around Princeton University campus. I hope everyone is enjoying spring!

Della in Princeton, revisited…
May 1, 2009 - 1:58 am - Joel, glad to see you've got another one up from this shoot! I was just thinking that you'd only put one photo up and I was wanting to see some others. Hope it was a great day in Princeton today and thanks for your call, I'll be giving you a call soon!
Washington’s monument…
Washington’s monument…
We had a great time strolling around Princeton last week as the weather improved dramatically. One of the stops was at the Washington monument in town, of which Espen had a blast running around and climbing on everything he could pull himself up on (which was quite a bit!). Here’s a shot of mother...
April 29, 2009 - 1:47 am - This is a beautiful shot Joel, I love the feel of it! Too bad that lady doesn't know about it and too bad her son doesn't either, although he looks a little young to care about photographs. Great work Joel, glad that you're updating regularly again! Hope you had a great day in Princeton today!
Fly Fishing in Jersey…
Fly Fishing in Jersey…
It was an amazing day. Although it was leaning on some high temperatures for most of the day, by the time Nate and I hit this local run to do some fly fishing it had cooled to a bearable degree, and the warm water eased against the rubber of our sandals. We...
Spring…again
Spring…again
Although I’m still showing some photos of spring, yesterday and today have officially met the criteria for summer, with our current temperature in Princeton at 13:30 being approximately 87 degrees F! Also, for those of you who have been missing the Espen photos, a new post is coming shortly to his blog, at nextgeneration.joelbock.com.
April 27, 2009 - 1:41 pm - Joel these are both beautiful shots...it's incredible the way that the water is clinging onto each little pinnacle (probably not the right word...but it works eh?), especially in the bottom shot. I love the colors in the bottom shot too...spring is so incredible. Can't wait to shoot with you when you get back! Hope it's a beautiful day in Princeton today...and we're going to have to do some flyfishing as well!
Portrait of a Professor…
Portrait of a Professor…
I had the honor to photograph one of the Princeton Theological Seminary professors, who I’m grateful to say is also a dear friend. I was first introduced to Dr. Wentzel van Huyssteen through mutual friends, and have since grown to really appreciate how welcoming and sincere he is. We spent a rainy...
April 24, 2009 - 11:57 am - I like this picture. I had a class with Dr. van Huyssteen, and he has a very caring, gentle attitude. In the picture he looks both stately and grandfatherly, both of which are true to his personality.
April 23, 2009 - 12:33 pm - Nice Joel, I'm glad you put one of these up on your blog! These are a great series of shots! I'm doing a similar type shoot today, so it's great to see your work on these. So great to talk to you yesterday as always, thanks so much for your kind words on the blog as well, really encouraging! Talk to you soon!
