Espresso madness…a short video with the 5D Mark II Well, things have been quiet on the ol’ blog frontier lately. But that’s partly due to playing with my 5D Mark II so much! However, I’ve been playing a lot with the video instead of taking pictures…so here’s something I came up with yesterday as I...

hey cous,
that video was great! Hmmm…let me count the talents of my cousin. Seriously, that was awesome. Keep ‘em coming! Have fun with the new toy! And have fun with your parents, I hear they are in town!
Thanks, Brendon. Yeah, it really rocks! I had to watch full screen on YouTube (by clicking the icon in the bottom right corner of the video, for all those interested) for the full screen effect to happen at its best quality, but you’re right. It’s insane how well this camera produces footage!!! And yes, the blog you referred me to made all the difference, and I’ve even done some of my own customizing to the process to help it a bit. Thanks again for that link!
Holy smokes! Looks like you got the iMovie processing workflow figured out! That’s fantastic quality. I watched it full-screen and it looked as good as any DVD I’ve played. Wow…nice camera.

Surprise snow storm in Princeton… Yep, we had some snow roll in on Sunday night and I got out for a few shots today before it completely melted for the season. Here’s a few shots from around the Princeton Theological Seminary campus. And, on another note. As I eluded to in an a comment on...

We’re already ready! Leah and I are so excited that you guys are coming back! Great snow shots Joel, I really like the bud on the tree branch. Enjoy the snow while you got it because there’s none of that going on here, but it is however sunny and beautiful.
WOOT! i mean, that’s cool.

Portraits of a senior: Princeton, NJ While my good friends were out visiting the east coast we were able to work in a quick senior session around town. Della has been a long time friend, and so I was extremely grateful to take some photos that begin to celebrate the amazing work she has been...

Oh, Darryl, I definitely want to be there to skate as well. And, guess what…it looks like we’ve decided to move back to Oregon for a while and be finished with “higher education”, so I might be joining you in a couple of months!
As to the photo, I really like that sculpture, too. It’s right on the university campus, and until Della I never thought of doing much with it, so I was stoked to have her climb up in it and take a few shots. It’s actually harder to find cool stuff like this around here as it more of the university feel, and less “grit” and urban feel.
This is a sweet shot! Great smile, and I’m a sucker for interesting urban grit like this rusty sculpture.
Skate season is coming here in Newberg; wish you were here to hit the park…

It’s here!!! That’s right, friends. Espen’s own blog has arrived at a url near you! You can either reach it through the above Links page, or click here. I’ll also continue to post photos from time to time here, but feel free to add that blog to your rss or whatever other blog reader you...
