Having known Sam for a long time now, I was stoked when he and Alyssa contacted me to shoot their wedding this coming summer. We had a lot of fun around Newberg this last week, enjoying the winter sun and temporary warm weather. Below are a few of my favorite images.

I had way too much fun with Espen, playing in the late afternoon sun yesterday. The best part about it was when we both took our cameras out (he got a little digital camera for his birthday) and were photographing the flowers together. At one point he got fed up with his little camera and told me he wanted to take a photo with my camera (the Canon 1Ds Mark II), and so the last photo on this page was taken by Espen. I held the camera off the ground, he gripped it, looked through the view finder, framed the shot, and pushed the shutter button. Way to go EP! Hope you were all able to enjoy the sun while it lasted.

I had the treat today to utilize the amazing warmth and sunlight for my friends’ (Sam & Alyssa) engagement session. We tromped around Newberg laughing and snapping shots. More to come soon!

That’s about all I’ve been working on the last couple days! Here’s a couple spreads from Thomas & Abigail’s wedding, which if you didn’t catch their photos the first time around you can right here. I have to say, Fundy Album Builder is probably the best investment I’ve made for album design! If you’re a photographer and looking to save some time and still have custom options at your creative disposal, check them out. I’m now getting 20-30 page albums done in around 1-2 hours. It’s a beautiful thing!

I had a last minute opportunity to be a part of this wedding, which was great that it worked out! I’ve known Jeanine and her sister for a while, so it was fun to journey with her and her new husband, Jodhan through their wedding. And on Super Bowl Sunday at that! Thanks friends for letting me be a part of your day!
